Topics Covered:

1)       CPR for adults, children & infants, AED use, the relief of choking for adults, children & infants, and the

use of barrier devices (masks) for all ages.  

2)       How to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives for both Adult

3)      & Pediatric patients.  General Principles (First Aid Basics), Medical emergencies, Injury emergencies,

4)      environmental emergencies and optional topics. 

5)      Blood Borne Pathogen Training (Meeting OSHA Guidelines) is provided at the end of each First Aid Class.

 

Intended Audience:

1)      Community members who have the duty to respond to first aid or cardiac emergencies because of job

2)      responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Childcare, Teachers, Girl & Boy Scout Leaders, Camp

3)      Councilors, Adult Foster Care, Worksite & Industrial Responders & Security Staff.

4)      Family members, friends, babysitters, and members of the general community who provide care for

others and want to learn CPR and First Aid for personal reasons.

5)      Middle and high school students seeking a credential in CPR, AED and First Aid Training.

 

 

Class size Limited:  $5 Late Registration (Less then week before class)       No “Walk-Ins” Allowed.
