Child and Infant CPR Offering for Child Care Organizations

First Aid & CPR for Family & Friends

(On-Site American Heart Association Authorized Training in West Michigan)

Health & Safety are of highest priority amongst Family & Friends. Proactive training causes better outcomes. The desire to “Do Good” may be restricted by the fear of “doing harm”. Responding to these concerns, Rockford Ambulance Service (RAS) has launched a New First Aid & CPR program bringing together the needs and resources of the communities within our emergency response areas. Following the American Heart Association guidelines, this program offers an opportunity for neighborhoods, churches, and other groups to band together. This condensed, yet interactive program covers Topics from Trauma (Bleeding, Burns & Fractures) to CPR (Children/ Infant & Adult/AED), to Sudden Illnesses (Medical and Environmental).

These First Aid & CPR programs are regularly taught by ACTIVE ambulance and SELECTED Fire Department personnel. Since actual CPR is rarely performed, Rockford Ambulance instructors will emphasize key points surrounding the Initial Care of critically ill and injured pediatrics & adults. RAS Instructors are equipped to Facilitate & Answer questions that may go beyond the basic requirements. Discussion is encouraged.

Set-up has been simplified. Materials are included. As indicated by previous participants and organizations, we believe the educational value of our programs has and will be proven.
