Child and Infant CPR Offering for Child Care Organizations

CPR-AED & First Aid Classes for Adult Foster Care

(On-Site American Heart Association Authorized Training in West Michigan)

The demand for safety in the adult foster care environments has arrived with increasing legal responsibilities. In response to these obligations, Rockford Ambulance is offering Adult CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) courses to your Foster Care location. These courses follow the proven guidelines of the American Heart Association. AEDs have brought rapid intervention to cardiac arrest victims, providing real opportunity for recovery. Also offered is First Aid Training. This condensed, yet interactive course covers topics from Trauma (Bleeding, Burns, & Fractures) to Sudden Illnesses (Medical and Environmental). Combined CPR Certification and First Aid training classes are available on location.

These CPR and First Aid classes are regularly taught by ambulance & fire department personnel with real experiences. Since actual CPR is rarely performed, Rockford Ambulance instructors will emphasize key points surrounding the Initial Care of critically ill and injured patients. Our instructors are equipped to answer questions that may go beyond the core requirements of the courses. Discussion is encouraged.

The process of setting up the courses has been simplified to facilitate efficiency. Materials are included. “Out-of-Area” locations* require a nominal site fee for the instructor. As indicated by previous participants and organizations, we believe the educational value of our programs has and will be proven.
